Roman Villa and the Mosaic of Tirana

A new building with modern architecture stands today as a bridge between the past and the future. This contemporary cultural station is specifically designed to protect and display ancient ruins, offering a space where open architecture, millennial history, and interactive digital installations come together. This site is an ideal destination for the whole family, where adults discover heritage and children learn through play and entertainment.

Travel Through Time via Technology

Inside the site, history and technology merge to offer you a completely immersive experience. Visitors will find multimedia and interactive installations specially designed to bring the past to life in an engaging way for all ages. Through these, you will have the unique opportunity to witness the digital restoration of the ancient mosaics firsthand and travel back in time thanks to a stunning 3D reconstruction of the Roman Villa. The programme's closing exhibition was presented at the Tirana Mosaic, in collaboration with MTKS, the IKTK, POLIS University, DRTK Tirana, and the Municipality of Tirana.
